Please help us do some good for Manningham and Heaton

The Manningham Project is looking for new trustees

Manningham Project has been providing a free, confidential, comprehensive generalist advice service, including welfare rights and immigration advice, in the Manningham and Heaton area of Bradford since 1974. We work from our Lumb Lane advice centre as well as other locations within the Bradford West area.

We are seeking volunteers to join a friendly team of trustees who support the Project and its staff. If you join the team you can expect to gain some understanding of the management of a small, community based voluntary organisation, and acquire skills in financial management, fundraising, and developing policies – skills that may provide the basis for future employment.

We welcome applications from all of Bradford’s communities. Some of the following experience would be useful but is not essential:

  • Previous or current experience as a trustee
  • Skills that might include fundraising, financial management, I.T skills, H.R. management or staff recruitment
  • An appreciation of the issues that affect Manningham and Heaton communities

You can download the Role description for a Trustee at the Manningham Project or alternatively email or write to us.

The main commitment would be to attend the trustee meeting once a month. If you are interested then please email admin@manninghamproject.org.uk, with Trustees in the subject box and your contact details.
